Energy Projects Plus has provided a freephone advice line since 1996. Anybody living in Cheshire and Merseyside can call us and speak to a qualified, expert Energy Advisor, who will be happy to answer any queries about home energy use, from fitting draught excluders, to setting central heating controls, right up to applying for grants to install solar panels.
Our Save Energy Advice Line also acts as a triage service for our other projects. This means callers can be assessed for the potential of follow-on, in-depth support, such as home visits where we can undertake such tasks as demonstrating how best to set heating controls, and popping our heads in the loft to measure how much insulation is up there. We can then sit down with the resident to look through their energy bills, see if there's any savings to be had by switching, and help them complete application forms for grants and schemes for energy efficient home improvements.
