Salford Independent Domestic Abuse Support Service (SIDASS) is part of the local charity Salford Women’s Aid, which offers a range of services to help and support women, men and children who are affected by domestic abuse. 

At Salford Women’s Aid we provide advice, information and support. For free confidential advice and information, if you need somewhere safe to stay or just want to talk to someone – we can help.

Salford Women’s Aid is a local charity that offers a range of services to help and support women, men and children who are affected by domestic abuse. Everyone has the right to live their life free from fear, violence and abuse. Sometimes it is difficult to know what is happening and you can feel confused and unsure about whether you are in an abusive relationship and the options available to you. You may feel frightened, humiliated and isolated.

Advice & Information

Salford Women’s Aid can give you confidential information and support. If you are frightened or worried about the way your partner or ex-partner is treating you, you do not have to put up with it. There are many things you can do to protect yourself and any children from further harm.

No one should have to put up with abuse. There is support for anyone who needs help and Salford Women’s Aid will provide information and support right now to anyone in need. Women and children who are affected by domestic abuse have rights under the law. Salford Women’s Aid will provide you with a pathway out of abuse and in to a stable setting.
