We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Additional Information
Foodbanks partner with a wide range of professionals such as job centre advisers, citizen advice services, health care workers, social workers, other charities and police to identify people in crisis and issue them with a foodbank e-voucher. Foodbank clients bring their e-voucher to a foodbank centre where it can be redeemed for three days’ emergency food. Volunteers meet clients over a warm drink and are able to signpost people to agencies able to solve the longer-term problem.
We are open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11 am to 1 pm.
