Additional Information

The Lighthouse Project is part of Inspire Middleton, a locally self-funded charity. We are not reliant on government or council funding, which means we must raise all our finances independently to sustain the projects we offer.

We depend on the generosity of donors, fundraising efforts, dedicated volunteers, and grants to continue our work. It is through the support of our backers that we can carry out our mission.

We let the experiences of our visitors speak for themselves. Reading their stories and testimonies will show you the positive impact the Lighthouse Project has had on their lives. If you visit us or use our services, we hope you will find the help and support you seek. If not, we will do our best to guide you to the right resources - the Lighthouse Team.

A Safe Haven

The Lighthouse is a warm, encouraging, and comfortable space where people can gather, make friends, build confidence, learn, and receive assistance. We offer various ways for personal growth, social development, and education, empowering individuals to become more independent.

Our Aims

The Lighthouse Project is open to all and aims to break down barriers to personal development, improve family life, alleviate poverty, and address the negative effects of social deprivation and hardship. We are dedicated to supporting people in reaching their full potential.

Our Objectives

We address local and national barriers and needs, providing personalized services and relevant interventions that focus on the whole person. Our goal is to help individuals overcome the burdens, worries, and obstacles that hinder their progress and make them feel trapped.

Our Values

At the core of our work is inclusivity - we offer support and outreach to anyone in need, regardless of their background or identity.
