Knowsley Carers supports people who are caring for a family member, friend or neighbour and are not paid to do this. They and their cared for may or may not be getting benefits.
The only criteria is that the carer must be over 18 and they and/or the person they care for live in Knowsley. They may be part of a group of people caring. Often one person is caring for several others. The person they care for can be any age but have additional needs over and above what might be expected for a person of that age.
