Overview

WHERE IT STARTED: our first cook took place in May 2009 and will always be remembered as a pivotal moment in FoodCycle’s history. After six months of getting the key ingredients of food, volunteers and a kitchen together, we knew we were on to something special.

WHERE WE’RE GOING: we’ve learned a huge amount since that first cooking session, but some things have always stayed the same: what we do, how we do it and the people we exist to serve. We are needed more than ever and we are opening new FoodCycle Projects across the country, bringing much needed food and conversation to your local community.

If you’ve been with us since the beginning, have been following us for a while or just joined in now – welcome!
