Additional Information

The foodbank is primarily run by volunteers, mainly from Living Waters Church. Food is donated by various sources, including most churches in Chorley, supermarkets, businesses, schools, and different groups and individuals. Food donations can be made during our opening times or placed in our trolleys at checkout areas in Morrisons, Asda in Chorley, or Asda Clayton Brook, as well as Tesco Buckshaw.

We operate through a referral system in partnership with our affiliated organisations. Our partners identify the need and send a referral form to LW Storehouse. The partner organisation then contacts the person being referred to arrange a suitable date and time for collecting the food parcel.

The individual is invited to visit Living Waters Cafe on Tuesdays or Fridays between 10 am and 2 pm, where they can collect their food and will be offered a cup of tea/coffee/food from our menu list.

Additionally, they will receive further assistance and be directed to other services if required.
