Overview
Ardwick & Longsight Food Bank is an independent food bank that can provide free food parcels for people in need. We rely on generous donations from individuals and families in the local community, churches and businesses to provide most of the food we distribute.
As well as providing a few days’ of food to meet the immediate crisis, we hope to point clients to other agencies that can help them find the way through their difficulty. We try to work in cooperation with other local agencies and food providers so that people are accessing help close to where they live.
In addition to the basic food bank provision of tinned and long life foods, we often have fresh vegetables, fruit and baked goods available on site.

Agencies can refer clients to us
Please use our on-line referral system if possible.
Complete and send the form giving as much information is possible. When you press send, it will come to our inbox and we will then contact the client to arrange details of the food parcel and how and when they can collect it. We are able to do a limited number of deliveries only, so please indicate if that is a necessity for the person you are referring. We may also contact you if we need further information.

Individuals can contact us by phone

Individuals who don’t have a phone
Individuals who don’t have a phone can drop in from 11am to 1pm on Monday or Thursday. We will need to see proof of address ID and some proof of their need. We may give one emergency food parcel and will help them to find a referral agency.
